I uploaded my pico aquarium from three years ago, it was nifty; however it eventually proved to be a pain in the ass to maintain. The plants had to be trimmed everyday, and the filter for it had to be cleaned out with every trimming otherwise the water would stop moving due to the clog and would be void of CO2.

I think I did it with a lamp I had in dorm and an old container for scented candles or a glass I got from a hotel. Either way, it was gorgeous with the shrimp and snail in it. I would do it again if it wasn't such a pain to maintain. I wanted something simple, however it seem like the larger, more complex ones are easier.
